Dr Schott graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School with a First Class BSc and Honours at Finals. He trained in general medicine at St Mary's and Northwick Park Hospitals (MRCP 1999), and in neurology at the Royal Free Hospital and National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. His MD thesis at he Dementia Research Centre focussed on the use of MRI in Alzheimer's disease. He was appointed as a HEFCE Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Neurologist at Queen Square in 2009. He runs a weekly specialist Cognitive Disorders Clinic and a weekly general neurology clinic.
