Dr Matt Hayman is a Consultant in Acute General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Matt did his first MB at Edinburgh University where he subsequently completed a PhD in Neurophysiology. His clinical training was at Oxford University and he completed his postgraduate medical training in the South West. His first consultant post was at Addenbrooke's Hospital and he maintains close contacts with the region.
Special interests include syncope and transient loss of consciousness (T-LOC) in the elderly, acute/immediate medical care of the frail elderly and understanding markers of frailty.
