Hospital for Tropical Diseases

The specialist consultants at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases (HTD) provide the UK with diagnoses and treatment for all tropical diseases including: parasites, malaria, leprosy, and diseases of the skin, eye, and gut, including children. The Hospital accepts direct referrals from general practitioners or referrals and transfers from other hospitals, and also has an emergency self-referral service for certain conditions. The Hospital serves long and short-term travellers, immigrants and refugee populations. It also provides the clinical infectious disease service for University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and houses the National Travel Health Network and Centre.

Travelling by public transport
The Hospital is conveniently located between Tottenham Court Road and Gower street which run North to South on either side of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases and the Euston Road which runs east to west on the northern side of the Hospital.


By Bus
Nos. 10, 24, 29, 73 and 134 run along Tottenham Court Road (going north) and Gower Street (going south). Nos. 27, 135 and 253 run along Hampstead Road towards Warren Street and Euston Square tube stations. Nos. 18, 27 and 30 run along Euston Road towards Warren Street and Euston Square tube stations.


By Tube and rail
The nearest underground tube stations are; Euston Square, Euston Station, Warren Street, Goodge Street.

The nearest mainline stations are Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras.
