The UCLH Oncology Fund was established in March 2011 and supports the cancer division at UCH. The Fund works with patients, their carers and staff to raise funds to improve patients’ environment and facilities beyond those readily available through the NHS.
A very special thanks to all those who have helped to raise an amazing £35,000 in the first six months. This has enabled us to purchase three blood pressure monitors for T14N and T16N, a library trolley to transport books donated by The Guardian around the wards, a piece of artwork, relaxation CDs, pictures, plants and rugs for our counselling rooms and to support complementary therapy treatments.
