Pathology 

Pathology is a clinical support service to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
Pathology at UCLH is subdivided into the four traditional subspecialities with the specialist laboratories included:

  • Biochemical Medicine - Dr John Land - clinical lead
  • Haematology/transfusion - Prof Sam Machin - clinical lead
  • Cellular Pathology - Dr Alan Ramsay - clinical lead
  • Microbiology - Dr Bruce Macrae - clinical lead
  • Blood test department (Phlebotomy)
