The National Brain Appeal 

The National Brain Appeal is the charity dedicated to raising funds for The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery which, together with the Institute of Neurology, is a worldwide leader in the research and treatment of brain disorders. Ten million people in the UK suffer from a neurological condition, either from birth, through injury, or a slowly developing illness that occurs later in life. These include multiple sclerosis (MS), brain and spinal cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and head injury.

Over the last ten years The National Brain Appeal has raised more than £15 million for cutting edge equipment, buildings and research. Your support is crucial to ensure that the National Hospital retains its position as the leading centre for neurology and neurosurgery, and continues its mission towards combatting brain disorders.

	The National Brain Appeal organises a number of individual challenge events and treks. All funds raised contribute to crucial projects at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
	Participate in one of the many running events taking place across the UK. From 5k to marathons there is something for you. We have places available in the Virgin London Marathon, BUPA London 10000 and the Nike London Run to the Beat half marathon.
	Join us at our special events held across the year. Annual events include the London Bridgathon and Carol Concert.
	Or why not have a go at organising your own dinner and dance, quiz night, party or other fundraising event with proceeds to The National Brain Appeal.
