Alpha Titan Testo Review: The Ingredients
Concerning. It’s hard to review the entire formula as it is covered by a proprietary blend.
A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients in their supplement. Instead, they group them all together under one larger dosage.
This means you can’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it truly is overall. It can be very annoying.
Aside from that, we’ve done the best we could. We look at the main ingredients and give you a write up of what they do.
Sadly, this supplement is too distracted by libido enhancing to effectively promote testosterone. We think their formula needs some revising.
Take a look:
This is not a good start to Alpha Titan Testo. The main reason being is that it does not effectively raise testosterone.
Despite claims in the industry about Tongkat Ali (also known as Longjack and Eurycoma Longifolia) there’s not evidence that it actually boosts testosterone in humans.
The only time it has been seen to improve levels of the male hormone is in animal studies. Unfortunately those same results do not transfer over here.
Longjack’s only benefit for you here may be to mildly improve your overall levels of libido and sex drive.
This isn’t a testosterone booster either in Alpha Titan Testo. Maca is a herb which has been seen in some cases to help with fertility.
Studies show that supplementing Maca may be able to improve sperm quality and increase libido. Aside from that, it doesn’t offer much in terms of benefits.
It’s a nice supporting addition to this supplement, but doesn’t accomplish much aside from fertility gains in Alpha Titan Testo.
This isn’t an effective testosterone booster in Alpha Titan Testo either.
L-Arginine is an amino acid which has claims to promote blood and nutrient flow. It may help muscle pumps in the gym.
However, studies show that it is not easily absorbed by the body. Ideally, what you need is a precursor to L-Arginine that it more easy for your body to use.
L-Citrulline would be a much better choice, it’s a shame that has not been used here instead.
This may help testosterone to a mild extent, but is more of a libido enhancer. Ginseng can help to improve blood flow and sex drive in some cases.
So, why can it also help testosterone in Alpha Titan Testo?
Because some studies show that it can help regulate blood sugar, and by extension insulin. When your insulin levels are high, your body balances your hormones by depleting your levels of testosterone. This is known as homeostasis. By using something like Ginseng to keep your insulin levels in check, you may make a better hormonal environment for your T to grow in.
Now we enter the realm of the dreaded proprietary blend. From here on in, all the dosages for Alpha Titan Testo are hidden.
This is a good ingredient depending on the dosage in Alpha Titan Testo. Pumpkin Seed can contain a good amount of Zinc.
Zinc is good for testosterone because it can be used by your brain in chemical reactions to help create the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). LH is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone, the more of it you have in your system, the more support your those hormones will have to grow.
This isn’t a strong choice in Alpha Titan Testo. Muira Puama doesn’t have any evidence of helping as a testosterone booster.
The most it may do in this supplement is help to improve your libido to some extent. That said, there is some evidence that it can help as a cognitive enhancer – which could help your focus in the gym.
This isn’t a strong choice in Alpha Titan Testo for testosterone.
The main reason Oat Straw is used in test boosters is because they are thought to increase T with a component in them known as Avena Sativa.
However, there isn’t a lot of evidence to show that it actually works for this purpose. It’s not a reliable option in this testosterone booster and we don’t believe that it will have much of an effect.
This is a better ingredient in Alpha Titan Testo, Nettle is good for improving your levels of free testosterone.
Free Testosterone is the T in your blood that is readily available for you to use.
However, there is a protein in your blood known as Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG). This binds to your testosterone and removes the anabolic potency – which is what made it effective in the first place.
Nettle helps to reduce this by inhibiting the SHBG and reducing its overall influence. This allows more T to flow your system and be available to you.
This isn’t a testosterone booster in Alpha Titan Testo – but it may be able to help in other ways.
Cayenne Pepper can help as a fat burner when taken in the correct dosage. It contains Capsicum which is a component which gives the pepper heat. This heat can increase you body’s temperature, in doing so it makes you body start a cool down process which helps you burn more calories than you would do normally.
It can also help in some cases as an appetite suppressant.
Not exactly what we’re looking for in Alpha Titan Testo either. This is another nutrient that has some claims to promote testosterone – but in the end it doesn’t achieve this.
The only thing that it may do for you in this supplement is mildly improve your sex drive and libido.
This is not a strong choice in Alpha Titan Testo. Tribulus has a good reputation in the supplements industry and it’s all down to one reason: marketing.
When you boil it down to the actual studies, it doesn’t have much of an impact at all.
The only time Tribulus has been seen to promote testosterone is either in animal studies or in a single study of a human with very low testosterone and infertility.
It hasn’t been seen to do much outside of that.
This is not an effective choice either in Alpha Titan Testo. Orchic extract is essnetially bovine testes – bull testicles.
They are used mainly because they are associated with the ‘macho’ angle with the animal it comes from. However, this does not mean that it can help testosterone levels.
There’s little to no evidence to this nutrient having an impact on the male hormone.
This is another ingredient in Alpha Titan Testo, however, this is one of the more supportive choices.
Oyster Extract contains an array of minerals and vitamins which can help general health as well as testosterone. They contain Zinc and Vitamin D3 specifically which can help this cause.
However, the amount of these nutrients in Oyster Extract is small, and as this is a proprietary blend, we fear the amount of Oyster will small too. You may get some mild benefit from it in Alpha Titan Testo – but we’re not sure given the lack of transparency regarding the dosages.
This is a better choice in Alpha Titan Testo but we would still like to know the dosage.
Boron has been seen in several studies to help raise testosterone levels while helping to lower your levels of estrogen – the female hormone.
It’s good to see it in here to help keep more balance with some of the ingredients.
Ingredient Profile Overview: Alpha Titan Testo
There’s a lot of ingredients in here, and the first thing that concerns us is the proprietary blend.
The proprietary blend is not great for transparency. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it really is overall.
Secondly, there’s a lot of wastage in Alpha Titan Testo. Many of the ingredients are aimed at boosting libido, rather than testosterone. The nettle and the boron appear to be the only ingredients in here that hold any ground for testosterone.
It’s not looking too good if this is your main reason for buying this supplement.
Is Alpha Titan Testo Safe to Use, Any Side Effects?
There’s nothing in here that has been linked to causing side effects.
Although it appears safe, that doesn’t mean it’s effective – there are plenty of other options out there which are better for testosterone.
If you have any concerns, preexisting conditions or allergies, we suggest you speak to your doctor before using it.
How would uclh.org change Alpha Titan Testo?
We’d remove the proprietary blend and display the full dosages of each ingredient.
Considering the amount of wastage in Alpha Titan Testo, we’d be tempted to build up again from just the Boron and Nettle.
From there we’d add Zinc, D-Aspartic Acid, Muncuna Pruriens, Ashwagandha and Luteolin.
Zinc, DAA and Mucuna Pruriens all help testosterone levels by boosting your amount of the Luteinizing Hormone – which is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone.
Whereas Ashwagandha can help make a better hormonal environment for your testosterone to grow by reducing your levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Finally Luteolin has been seen in some cases to work as an aromatase inhibitor (estrogen suppressant) which can help give your testosterone more of an impact.
Alpha Titan Testo Review Summary
Overall, it’s not the best testosterone booster that we’ve come across on the market.
There’s a lot of unnecessary ingredients in here and the addition of the proprietary blend makes it even more unappealing.
We think major revisions are needed to the core ingredients in this supplement with a lot more focus on testosterone and LH boosting rather than libido.
