What is DMAA?

DMAA is 1,3-dimethylamylamine. It’s an amphetamine derivative that used to be legal to use in supplements.

Supplement companies jumped at the chance to use it, as the compound is so potent. It’s a neural stimulant, when taking it gives the user a huge energy boost and focus boost.

However, this is because you’re essentially taking an amphetamine. DMAA has multiple links to causing side effects that are much more severe than what you usually get in a pre workout.

DMAA can give aggressive heart palpitations, raised heart rate, higher blood pressure, jitters, headache, nausea, light headed symptoms and more.

You’re getting a hell of a lot of stimulant in such a fast amount of time that some people react very badly to it.

We strongly recommend that you stay away from DMAA and not look for another product like NitraFlex that still contains it.

DMAA can still be purchased from some vendors depending on the location and if they have any remaining bottles of pre workout that contained it before the ban.
