uclh.org’s Overview:

After reviewing Neuro Peak by Zhou, we have to say that we are impressed with some of the ingredients used. Bacopa, Phosphatidylserine and Rhodiola Rosea are all great chioces in here.

However, this isn’t the best that we’ve seen when it comes to a nootropic, some of the ingredients in this supplement let it down.

Neuro Peak Review

How to Take

Neuro Peak is a simple supplement to take and use. All you have to do it take between 1 – 2 supplements a day with meals.

We suggest taking it with breakfast to ensure that you get the benefits through the majority of your day.

Neuro Peak Science and Ingredients

Now we look at the science behind Neuro Peak. What does the research say about the ingredients in this nootropic?

There are some good options in this nootropic, but there are also some which don’t seem to have much evidence to support them all.

Below, we’ll look at the main nutrients to give you the information you need to decide whether this brain supplement is the one for you.

Neuro Peak Ingredients

Bacopa Monnieri

This is one of the main ingredients in Neuro Peak, and it’s a good one to see in this nootropic.

Bacopa Monnieri is a nootropic which has been seen in numerous studies to help promote memory formations and even reduce anxiety.

This can help make you have a better mindset and mood which can promote calmness and focus.

In doing so, it helps optimize your brain to better handle stressful situations and be more productive.

Phosphatidylserine

This is another good addition to Neuro Peak Brain Support. Phosphatidylserine comes from amino acids and can commonly be found soy products, or in some cases plants.

The PS in Zhou Neuro Peak though is soy-based. It can still deliver the same benefits though.

Phosphatidylserine has been seen in numerous studies to improve memory, focus, overall cognition, and even in some cases reduce stress.

It’s good to have on side in this nootropic and has plenty of studies behind it.

Gingko Biloba

This however, may not a good choice in Neuro Peak though.

Gingko Biloba is a nutrient which has some claims to promote cognition, however, there are mixed results surrounding this.

In some cases, Ginkgo Biloba has been seen to help to promote cognition and focus, whereas in others it has been seen to have no effect at all.

With such conflicting research, there’s thought in the community that it may only carry a placebo effect.

More research is definitely needed to confirm this theory.

Rhodiola Rosea

This is a better choice in Neuro Peak. Rhodiola rosea is a Scandinavian herb which has numerous studies behind it.

So, what does it do in Neuro Peak?

Research shows that supplementing this herb can help improve your overall feelings of mood and well-being. Some cases have even shown Rhodiola Rosea to help reduce the symptoms of depression.

This can help give you a better outlook and allow you to be more positive throughout the day.

DMAE

The final ingredient in Neuro Peak, and unfortunately it’s not a good one.

DMAE was orginially used in skin care routines. It’s believed to help reduce the the appearance of wrinkles. It does work well for this, but somewhere along the way it was suggested as a good choice for reducing cognitive decline.

At the moment there are no studies to confirm this.

The only thing that is available is a rat study which shows this nutrient to cause some rather unpleasant side effects. We’ll cover more of what these details are later on in our Neuro Peak side effects section.

What could help improve Neuro Peak?

There are several ingredients that we think could help improve the overall effectiveness of this nootropic.

Before we get to that though, we think a few ingredients in here could also be removed. The ginkgo biloba and the DMAE are the main suspects that we think are holding back the effects of Neuro Peak.

So, what would we replace them with?

  • Citicoline (as Cognizin) – Helps improve cognition and overall brain energy.
  • Maritime Pine Bark Extract – Helps to boost blood, oxygen, glucose and nutrients to your brain at a more effective rate.
  • L-Tyrosine – Helps to manage your levels of the stress hormone and optimize brain chemicals for maximum mental performance.

Ingredients like this would go a long way in Neuro Peak.

Neuro Peak Side Effects

The ingredient that we believe may cause side effects in Neuro Peak is the DMAE.

DMAE has been seen in rat studies to lead to birth defects. Although this hasn’t been seen in humans – there aren’t many DMAE supplement studies out there.

We won’t rule it out. If you’re trying for a baby, we strongly suggest that you avoid Neuro Peak – male or female. It could be affecting the fertility section of either gender.

Additional Neuro Peak Reviews

Here we cover other information you should know surrounding Neuro Peak, how other people are reviewing it and how it compares to some competiting nootropics online.

Let’s take a look…

Neuro Peak Review Reddit

Reddit is one of the main areas we looked at to get more information of users experience with Neuro Peak Brain Support Supplement.

Despite being a major supplement, there wasn’t much talk about this nootropic. However, what we did find wasn’t flattering.

Take a look:

“Very poor ingredients. They use a poor bioavailable form of B12, non-patented Bacopa Monnieri, Rhodiola, Ginkgo (who knows if they are legit), and DMAE raises Acetylcholine which can make some people depressed and gives them brain fog.

3/10.”

It is unclear whether or not this user has tried Neuro Peak – but they clearly didn’t like the ingredients in this stack.

Neuro Peak Vs Alpha Brain

Alpha Brain from Onnit Nutrition is one of the most notable nootropics on the market.

So how does it compare to Neuro Peak?

In terms of the actual ingredients, we have to give it to Alpha Brain – however, on dosages and price points, Neuro Peak wins.

Alpha Brain is full of proprietary blends. This means it’s all the individual dosages of the main ingredients are hidden. Instead they’re grouped together under a larger dosage known as a ‘blend’. You don’t know how much you’re getting of each individual ingredient or how effective it will really be.

Whereas Neuro Peak is clear about how much is in each of their ingredients and that gives you a better idea of what to expect.

Alpha Brain is also significantly overpriced in comparison to Neuro Peak – by almost 4 times. Alpha Brain is $76.00 and upwards, whereas Neuro Peak is just under $20.00.

We don’t think either are the best nootropic on the market – but if we had to choose one or the other we’d go for Neuro Peak.

Zhou Neuro Peak

At the end of our review, we conclude that this is a nootropic that could do with some serious improvement.

Don’t get us wrong, it has some good ingredients that we like. The Bacopa, Phosphatidylserine and Rhodiola Rosea are all ingredients that appeal to us and general cognition.

However, the DMAE and Ginkgo Biloba tarnishes that set-up.

We think Zhou should remove a few of these ingredients and add a few that have more of the science and support to back them up.

It’s not the best option on the market – but it’s far from the worst.
