TruCONTROL is a weight loss aid from TruVISION, and in this article we will be performing a TruCONTROL review.

About TruVISION

TruVISION is a nutrition and wellness company based in Utah in the United States. They have a huge range of products on their website but the main areas they claim to focus on are:

  1. Weight Loss
  2. Energy
  3. Natural Beauty
  4. Normal Blood Levels

These are all covered within different supplements and products offered by TruVISION health. In this short article though, we shall be directing our focus towards TruCONTROL.

TruVISION TruCONTROL

Benefits of TruCONTROL

As a weight loss aid, TruCONTROL is claimed to have the following benefits:

  1. Boost metabolism
  2. Suppress appetite
  3. Optimize body fat composition
  4. More Energy
  5. Can be stacked with other TruVISION supplement TruFIX

In this review, we’ll be putting these TruCONTROL claims to the test to see how effective it really is for you to use.

We’ll cover this by looking at the ingredients, side effects and other issues associated with this supplement.

Let’s take a look:

TruCONTROL Ingredients

  • Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxine HCl): 2.5mg
  • Iron (as Ferrous Fumarate): 1.5mg
  • Proprietary Blend: 457mg
    • Green Tea Leaf Extract (60% EGCG)
    • Dutched Cocoa (processed with alkali)
    • Octodrine HCl
    • Green Coffee Bean (Natural Caffeine)
    • Green Tea Leaf Extract (98% Polyphenols)
    • Citrus Aurantium Extract (as Kinetiq 50% P-Synephrine)
    • Theacrine
    • Evodiamine
    • Hordenine HCl
    • Black Pepper Fruit Extract (as BioPerine 95% Piperine)
    • Dendrobium Nobile Extract (5% Alkaloids)(Stem & Aerial Parts)

There’s a huge range of ingredients in TruCONTROL – but sadly not all of them are good.

The main problem is that the majority of the ingredients are all part of a proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients in their supplement.

TruCONTROL Dosage

Instead, all the dosages in TruCONTROL are grouped together under one larger value. This means you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it really is overall.

Not only that, there are several ingredients in here which may cause side effects. There’s a lot of problems with TruCONTROL that need to be discussed.

TruCONTROL Ingredients

Green Tea

This is a great start to TruCONTROL, it’s just a shame that TruVISION weren’t kind enough to include the dosage.

Green Tea is a natural fat burner which has been seen in numerous studies to help promote fat loss.

So, how does it work? Green Tea contains antioxidants known as catechins can help to promote your overlal levels of the fat burning hormone norepinephrine.

The more norepinephrine you have in your system, the more support your body has to burn more fat throughout the day.

Green Tea also contains a small amount of L-Theanine which can help focus and caffeine for energy.

Dutched Cocoa

This is more of a supporting ingredient in TruCONTROL. Dutched Cocoa in this supplement is thought to help improve your overall levels of the blood and nutrient flow. It does this through containing an amino acid known as theobromine.

The more of this that you have in your system, it’s easier for your body to absorb the nutrients in here and get more out of this supplement.

Octodrine HCl

Also known as DMHA, this is not an ingredient that we do not like to see in TruCONTROL.

Why? Because it has links to causing numerous side effects, which we’ll discuss later.

In terms of the benefits, Octodrine has been seen in some cases to help energy levels, cognitive function and decrease of appetite.

It can improve your physical and mental performance, but at the cost of your health. We don’t agree with using Octodrine in TruCONTROL – and we’ll talk more about the side effects later.

Green Coffee Bean

This is a better and safer choice in TruCONTROL, and we’re glad TruVISION included it.

Green Coffee Bean can help fat loss by how it interacts with the glucose levels in your liver. This is the glucose that your body uses for energy, without it, your body turns to burning other resources in your system for energy – namely your stored fat.

It’s a good addition to this fat burner and one of the safest options in TruCONTROL.

Citrus Aurantium

This however, is not a good choice in TruVISION TruCONTROL.

Citrus Aurantium (also known as Bitter Orange Extract) is a nutrient which is at the center of a lot of controversy in the supplement world. Mainly because it has links to causing a lot of side effects.

Although it may help improve your energy levels to some degree, and your metabolism to an even lesser degree – it is too dangerous for us to recommend.

There are safer and more effective options out there, and we’re confused as to why TruCONTROL felt they needed to go with it.

Theacrine

This is another stimulant addition to TruCONTROL. Theacrine is thought to work in a similar way to caffeine but with less of the side effects (less jitters, anxiety etc) while still not building a tolerance.

At the moment, there are not enough studies out there for it to be said that this is the case.

Evodiamine

Also known as Evodia Rutaecarpa. It’s a nutrient in TruCONTROL which is thought to help improve thermognenic fat loss.

However, there is not enough studies out there to know how effective it really is.

There’s a lot of theories but not a lot of actual proof. For now, all we’ll say is that it looks promising but don’t expect any fat burning benefits.

Hordenine

This is a nutrient found in numerous common foods – but again, it’s another ingredient in TruCONTROL that lacks the studies to support the claims that it burns fat.

In fact, it may even be a risky choice. As of April 2019, Hordenine has appeared on the FDA’s dietary supplement ingredient advistory list – which means they’re ingredients that the FDA do not think are lawful to use in supplements.

Black Pepper & Dendrobium

These are final ingredients that we’re covering in our TruCONTROL review.

Both Black Pepper and Dendrobium have been seen in numerous studies to help promote bioavailability and absorption.

This can help you to get more out of the main ingredients and absorb more overall.

TruCONTROL Side Effects

There are numerous ingredients in TruCONTROL by TruVISION which may cause side effects.

The first that we’re going to talk about is the DMHA (the Octodrine). It has been seen in numerous cases to cause nausea, energy crashes, increases in blood pressure and heart palpitations. This is mainly due to it being such a potent stimulant.

The next is Citrus Aurantium, which has numerous side effects linked to it. Again, many of the main problems are stimulant related; anxiety, nausea, headaches, increased blood pressure and heart rate.

The last ingredient that you need to be concerned about is the Hordenine.

It is a similar structure to Citrus Aurantium, and in doing so has a lot of the same side effects. Again, they’re stimulant related. There is a potential for experiencing high blood pressure and heart rate.

TruCONTROL and TruFIX

TruFIX and TruCONTROL

It’s recommended by TruVision that you combine TruFIX and TruCONTROL for maximum benefit. But why? What does TruCONTROL and TruFIX achieve when taken together?

Before we get into that, let’s look at what TruFIX is claimed to do.

It’s thought that TruFIX can help increase metabolism and maintain liver function. The metabolism boosting would compliment the fat burning aspects of TruControl.

But is TruFIX a good choice? The TruFIX ingredients contain:

  • Alpha Lipoic Acid
  • Chlorogenic Acid
  • Chromium
  • Copper
  • Magnesium
  • Raspberry Ketones
  • Selenium
  • Vanadium
  • Zinc

Which is pretty standard stuff. The only thing we would say would make a difference here to your fat loss is the Chlorogenic Acid and to some extent the Alpha Lipoic Acid.

TruFIX has some minor benefits, but don’t think it’s needed for this supplement.

TruVISION Lawsuit

TruVISION has been under investigation of the FDA in the past – and was sent a stern warning on November 30th 2017.

Although TruCONTROL was not part of the investigation, several other products in the TruVISION range were found to have problems:

  • truWeight & Energy™ Gen 2
  • Ubiquinol
  • Omega 3
  • Pycnogenol┬«
  • reNU
  • truElevate™

The main reasons being that they are using unapproved new drugs and misbranded drugs. Essentially they need more research to back up the claims on the products their selling.

There are also a whole host of other issues like mislabelling their products by not correctly showing the name and address of the company on the TruSLUMBER supplement.

Nothing has been noted for truCONTROL in this warning letter – but it still gives you an idea of how well you can trust TruVISION.

We suggest you look into the FDA warnings to TruVISION and see how you want to proceed.

TruCONTROL: Ebay and Walmart

Aside from their website, you can also purchase TruCONTROL with TruFIX from both Ebay and Walmart.

However, it is known to go out of stock quickly at Walmart. We suggest going straight to the manufacturer to avoid any problems.

TruCONTROL Reviews

As you can see, TruCONTROL is not a great option when it comes to fat burners, TruVISION have made a supplement that could definitely use improving.

The first problem is the proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.

The next issue are the side effects. It’s difficult to know how much of each ingredient you’re getting throughout the day if the dosages of the main ingredients are hidden. This is a problem to work out the true effectiveness of TruCONTROL.

There’s also an issue with side effects, the DMHA, Citrus Aurantium and Hordenine are all linked to causing problems in TruCONTROL.

There’s a lot of refinements that could be made to the ingredients in here, and with the FDA warnings that surround the parent company TruVISION, it all seems like a very risky choice.
